Frequently Asked Questions

Will the crate cover be too hot, especially since there are no cut-out windows?

No, our covers are made from lightweight fabric that ensures proper airflow and will not overheat your crate.

Many crate covers, labeled as waterproof or windproof, are coated in toxic PVC which blocks airflow and traps heat like a greenhouse.

Cutting a window into a plastic cover doesn't make it breathable or safe for your dog!

Does the crate pad have a non-slip bottom?

No, we don't use skid proof dots that come off. The pad has fabric on both sides, providing double the use and reducing the frequency of washings because dog beds get dirty fast!

To prevent sliding, we recommend using a cheap rug pad gripper underneath to keep your crate pad in place.

How secure are the bumper's Velcro attachments?

There are 9 strong Velcro straps along the top of the bumper, making it more secure than fabric ties.

For best results, wrap the Velcro strap above a horizontal crate bar to prevent it from sliding down.

Is it chew-proof?

No, our bedding is not designed to be chew-proof.

Dog Trainers recommend that you supervise your pup when you introduce new bedding. If they start chewing, take it away to train them not to.

This bedding will be a cozy reward once they're past the teething stage.

Is it easy to clean and maintain?

Yes, all three pieces are 100% machine wash and dry making them easy to clean and maintain.
