The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International develops internationally recognized technical standards and testing procedures used to verify the quality, safety, and performance of materials, products, and systems. 

In 2024 we partnered with Magill Services to measure the air flow and breathability of our crate covers using the ASTM D-737 Air Permeability test. Magill Services is an ISO 17025 accredited textile testing lab, the global quality standard for testing and calibration laboratories. 

Our crate cover was tested 5 times against 3 major brands. The results showed that no air could pass through the plastic coated covers from Explore Land, HiCaptain, and X-Zone. Pet Dreams fabric is never coated, allowing air to flow freely for a well ventilated crate.
